Ledn Transfer

Ledn Transfer allows you to send BTC and USDC to other Ledn clients using their Ledn Handle or email address. This service is secure, fast, and free.

Are transfers instant?

Once initiated, transfers leave your Transaction Account and await the recipient’s acceptance. If the transfer is not accepted within 30 days, the funds are returned to your Transaction Account.

Yes, you can send BTC or USDC to non-Ledn clients by entering their email address. The recipient must create a Ledn account to accept the transfer. Availability of Ledn accounts may vary by region.

A Ledn Handle is a unique identifier that allows clients to send and receive BTC or USDC quickly.

How to create a handle:

1. Log in to your Ledn account.
2. Go to your dashboard and click "Claim your handle."
3. Choose a handle that is between 3 to 25 characters in length.
   • Restrictions: Handles cannot contain spaces, special characters, or be an email or wallet address.
4. Confirm your handle once you’ve selected it.

⚠ Note: You cannot change your Ledn handle once it’s created.

• Minimum Transfer Size: $5 USD equivalent in BTC or USDC.
• Maximum Daily Transfer (non-Safelisted): $2,000 USD equivalent.
• Maximum Daily Transfer (Safelisted): $5,000 USD equivalent.

To Safelist a recipient, go to the "Security" tab in your profile. This will increase your daily transfer limits and provide additional security.
